It stays on your phone
Your vault is stored only on your device. There is no account, no cloud and no copy on our servers.
It is locked with strong encryption
Everything is encrypted with AES-256, a widely trusted encryption standard. Without your master password it is unreadable.
We never know your master password
It is not stored anywhere and is never sent to us. Only you can open your vault.
Your fingerprint stays with Android
Fingerprint unlock is handled by Android's secure hardware. The app and we never see your fingerprint.
Guessing does not work
After 5 wrong PIN or pattern tries, only the master password opens the vault. Wrong master passwords make you wait longer each time, up to 15 minutes.
No peeking
Screenshots, screen recording and the recent-apps preview are always blocked, and the vault locks when you leave the app or the screen turns off.
Copied passwords disappear
A password you copy is wiped from the clipboard after 30 seconds, and hidden from the clipboard preview on Android 13 and later.
Ads never see your vault
The free version has one optional ad. The vault is locked before it plays, and ads never run while your vault is open.
Because we never see it, nobody can reset it — not even us. If you forget it and cannot use your fingerprint, PIN or pattern, the vault cannot be opened. That is why Wavvy Vault asks for it again every 7 days and after a phone restart. Write it down somewhere safe and keep an up-to-date backup file.

Frequently asked questions
What if I forget my master password?
Your master password is never stored and never sent to us, so nobody can reset it — not even us. If you forget it and cannot use fingerprint, PIN or pattern unlock, the vault cannot be opened. To help you remember, Wavvy Vault asks for the master password again every 7 days and after a phone restart (you can change this). Write it down somewhere safe and keep a backup file.
Is my vault stored in the cloud?
No. Wavvy Vault is an offline password manager. The vault is encrypted and stored only on your phone or tablet. There is no account and no cloud sync, and Android system backup is switched off for the vault, so it is not copied anywhere without you.
How do I back up, or move to a new phone?
Export an encrypted .wvault backup file and keep it wherever you like — your own Google Drive, a USB drive or a computer. On the new phone, install Wavvy Vault, open the file and enter your master password. You can also export a KeePass .kdbx file. Backup, restore and KeePass export are always free.
Does it autofill passwords in apps and browsers?
Yes. Choose Wavvy Vault as your Android autofill service in the app's settings. It offers your user name and password in apps and browsers after you unlock the vault. Web addresses are trusted only from known browsers, which helps protect you from phishing apps. Autofill is free.
Can I import from Google Password Manager, Chrome, Bitwarden or KeePass?
Yes. Wavvy Vault imports KeePass .kdbx files and CSV files exported from Google Password Manager, Chrome, Bitwarden, 1Password, Firefox, Proton Pass and LastPass. CSV files are plain text that anyone can read, so delete them after importing.
Is Wavvy Vault connected to my bank?
No. Wavvy Vault has no official connection with any bank, card issuer or institution and does not connect to them. Institution names in your vault are the ones you type, and no bank logos are included or downloaded.
Are there ads?
Only if you choose one. The free version offers one optional short ad that unlocks Pro features for 1 hour. Your vault is locked before the ad plays, and the ad system is not even started unless you tap that card. There are no banners or pop-up ads, and Pro has no ads.
What happens when the free trial ends?
Nothing is charged and nothing is deleted. You continue with the free version (up to 5 entries) with all unlock methods, autofill, backup and KeePass export. You can always open and export your own data.
